If you have something you need professionally printed, please stick to the requirements for our printers below. If you require any assistance with your files we will try our best to make them print ready for you. Our set-up cost is currently from £15 if you would like it done professionally for you. Artwork amendments are classed as design and incur a charge.

What type of printing process is used?

Both lithograph and digital. Whichever is suited to the job.

How much bleed should I leave in my artwork?

3mm bleed on each border for up to A6, and 5mm for bigger sizes.

What types of files are accepted?

The best file format to submit your artwork in is Adobe Acrobat - .pdf

If would like to submit in a format not listed here, please contact us to make sure we can accept it. We do not accept print from Microsoft Publisher - .pub, Microsoft Word - .doc or Microsoft Powerpoint - .ppt. If you cannot convert these files to .pdf, we can from only £12.

Vector based artwork (preferred format type):
Adobe Illustrator - .ai
Adobe Indesign - .indd
Encapsulated Postcript - .eps (most vector art packages can export to this format)

Raster based artwork (only use this format type if you cannot supply vector artwork):
JPEG Image - .jpg, - .jpeg

Artwork guidelines

The resolution of your artworks should at least be 300dpi to create high quality printing matters. If your image contains Rastered text, we suggest you use higher resolution artwork up to 600dpi.

How can I know the final design looks like?

We can arrange a pre-press print proof for you if required. The proof isn't 100% accurate, but it gives a pretty good idea of what your work will look like.

What resolution does my artwork need to be?

Your artwork should be created at 300dpi (dots per inch) or higher. If your artwork is at a lower resolution than this, the print quality will be affected.

How do I upload a design?

There are two different ways. Upload your your artwork less than 25mbs via email or contact us for our address to include a CD/USB.

When do you require payment?

As we use printers and do not print ourselves, to avoid any problems we require full payment to initiate a job. If you chose us to design your work, you have 14 days to pay.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cheque, cash and bank transfer (BACs) is all we accept at the moment. We will accept online payment soon.

Can you produce artwork for me?

Yes we would love to! We offer a full range of design and artwork services. Give us the details of what you want and we will be happy to quote. Click here for a quote.

When does the turnaround time start?

From the day of the clearance of the payment and the confirmation of the proof of the artwork. We will confirm with the printers how long it will take for your job to complete and let you know!
